Terms of service
Effective 20 September 2026. Last updated 28 September 2026.
Training carries risk, and this app is not a doctor. TrainHere gives you general strength-training guidance, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have pain, an injury, a medical condition, or you are unsure whether an exercise is safe for you, get advice from a qualified professional. Stop training and seek care if something hurts. You train at your own risk.
Who you are agreeing with
TrainHere is provided by FreeBase Software, a Danish sole proprietorship (enkeltmandsvirksomhed) owned by Mikhail Klimenko, established in Denmark, CVR 45234207. "We" and "us" below mean FreeBase Software; "you" means the person using the app.
Agreeing to these terms
Using TrainHere means accepting these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old to use TrainHere.
What TrainHere does
TrainHere builds strength-training programs for the equipment you have, records the workouts you do, and suggests what to do next from deterministic rules applied to what you logged. It works offline; an account is optional and exists to back up and synchronise your own data.
Exercise guidance, programs and illustrations are our own work and are written for generally healthy adults training at a beginner-to-intermediate level. They are general information. They cannot account for your history, your injuries or your circumstances, and following them is your decision.
Some exercise guides link to a YouTube search so you can see other people demonstrate a movement. Those results are other people's work, we do not review them, and they carry none of our own guidance's standing.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep access to the email address or sign-in provider behind it, because that is how you get back in and how the account is recovered. An account is for one person. You can remove a device from your account, and you can delete the account entirely, from inside the app.
Your data is yours
You keep everything you create in TrainHere: your programs, your logged workouts, your notes, your measurements and your photos. We do not claim ownership of them. We process them only to provide the app, as described in the privacy policy, and you can export a complete copy or delete them at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your own copy of anything that matters to you. Data stored only on a device is lost if that device is lost, reset, or the app is removed — that is what the export and the optional account exist to prevent.
AI coaching
Where TrainHere offers AI-assisted coaching, it produces proposals. Nothing an AI suggests changes your program until you explicitly accept it, your existing history is never rewritten, and the deterministic progression rules continue to govern what the app recommends. AI output can be wrong or unsuitable for you; judge it as you would advice from a stranger who cannot see you train, and do not follow it if it conflicts with professional advice you have been given.
Using the app properly
Please do not:
- break the law with it, or use it to harm anyone;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach other people's data;
- use automated means to extract our exercise content, illustrations or catalog in bulk;
- resell or redistribute the app's content as your own.
The app, its content and its illustrations are ours and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them through the app; nothing more is granted.
TrainHere Plus and payments
Training in TrainHere is free. TrainHere Plus is an optional subscription that adds the AI coaching described above, within the usage allowances the app shows. You need an account to buy it, and it belongs to that account on every device you sign in on.
- Price and period. Plus is sold monthly or yearly — at launch US$7.99 a month or US$49.99 a year. The price you pay, in your currency and including any tax, is shown before you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel it. If the price changes, you are told before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel first.
- Who you pay. In the iPhone app you pay Apple, and in the Android app you pay Google; their terms apply to the payment, and they handle billing, cancellation and refunds. On the web you pay Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service: checkout says "Sold through Link", Link is the seller of the subscription and its terms apply to the payment, and Link sends your receipts and answers payment questions.
- Cancelling. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or, for a web purchase, from Plus → Manage subscription or your Link account. Plus stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting your TrainHere account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it where you bought it.
- Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, its length and the price it turns into are shown before you start it. Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Refunds. The unused part of a period is not refunded, except where the law or the seller's own policy provides for it. Ask Apple or Google about a store purchase, and Link or us about a web purchase. A refunded subscription ends Plus.
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days. Plus starts as soon as you buy it, so the refund may be reduced for the part of the service you have already used, as the law allows. The seller — Apple, Google or Link — handles the withdrawal.
- When Plus ends. Your data, your programs — including changes you accepted from the coach — and all free training stay. Only new coaching requests stop.
We may change what Plus includes or its allowances. A change that takes away something you pay for is announced in the app before your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
Availability, and what we do not promise
We do this carefully but we are a one-person operation. The service is provided as it is: we do not promise that it will always be available, that synchronisation will always succeed, that a recommendation will suit you, or that the app is free of defects. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give notice where a change would take away something you rely on.
The app is designed so that a failure of ours does not stop you training: it works offline and keeps your data on your device.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data where you could have exported it, or for injury arising from training you chose to do. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under Danish law.
If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in still apply to you in full, whatever these terms say.
Ending it
You can stop using TrainHere whenever you like, delete your account from inside the app, and remove the app from your devices. We may suspend or end access to the service for someone who breaks these terms, attacks the service, or puts others at risk.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes belong to the Danish courts, except that as a consumer you keep the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live and to rely on its law.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change materially, the app will say so and the date at the top will move. Continuing to use TrainHere after that means accepting the new version; if you do not accept it, export your data and stop using the app.
